About the Book

A practical and actionable guidebook for understanding and building real trust with others and within ourselves.

Work isn’t transactional; it’s relational. And, all relationships are built on trust. When trust is strong, anything is possible. Ignore building trust and opportunities will be lost.

Never before has trust been so important in moving our world forward and creating the conditions for meaningful and sustainable change. While it takes effort and practice, everyone can develop the practical leadership skills, habits, and mindset needed to earn, strengthen, extend, and even restore trust.

In The Future is Trust, Rick Kitigawa and Lisa Lambert draw on their experience as global organizational design consultants, leadership coaches, and facilitators and share their practical, inclusive, and actionable framework for building trust with yourself, with others, and at scale.

Their work sheds light on:

  • Why Trust: Why now, what’s changed, and what do we have without trust?
  • What is Trust: The act of trusting–how it inspires belonging, resilience, and collaboration.
  • How to Build Trust: Starting with ourselves, the foundational tools to wire all of our connections for trust.

The Future is Trust creates the conditions for enduring change, bending culture, and shaping the future of organizations and communities. It will inspire readers to live their learnings and become the Trust-Centered Leader we need to architect a brighter tomorrow.
